Support Executive
We usually respond within three days
Hi 👋 We’re Legl.
Legl is building the operating system for modern legal services.
We help law firms and regulated businesses replace manual, fragmented workflows with intelligent software from client onboarding and compliance to payments, risk, and reporting.
Legal work is high-stake - it’s regulated, complex, and deeply impactful - and our mission is to help regulated firms grow faster, run their businesses more profitably, manage risk intelligently, and deliver great client experiences
We’re backed by leading European VCs, scaling quickly, partnered with over 600 law firms including 50 of the UK’s top 200, launched in the UK and Australia - and entering our next phase of growth.
We Work Best When
AI is the central-operating model: not a tool or a future plan - but the way we run.
Decisions live with people: you're trusted to make calls and own them.
Think deeply, execute quickly: speed and rigour, not speed or rigour.
What You’ll Do
As a Support Executive at Legl, you’ll:
Be the first line of support. Work through a broad range of customer and technical queries across onboarding, compliance, payments and reporting, diagnosing the root cause independently and escalating cleanly when needed.
Guide firms and their clients through the product. Walk firm users through complex features and AML/CDD workflows as a calm, credible expert, and help their end-clients complete their journey smoothly.
Be AI-first. Use AI tools to draft and maintain help centre content, speed up troubleshooting, and get more done in less time.
Iterate & improve as you go. Spot patterns in tickets and feedback, propose fixes to clunky processes, and feed clear insight to Product and EPD to fix recurring issues at source.
Own your work end to end. Manage your own queue and priorities, communicate proactively with customers and the team through incidents and change, and flag issues early rather than reactively.
This Role Is a Great Fit If…
You're a genuinely strong communicator - clear and confident with law firm customers, their end-clients and internal colleagues alike, in writing and live, and calm under pressure.
You're proactive with communication - you share progress, flag problems early, and escalate when you need help rather than letting issues surface reactively.
You're self-directed and accountable - you can own a project end to end, take a brief and run with it without close supervision.
You manage your own time well - balancing customer-facing support with internal commitments and knowing what to prioritise.
You're a self-learner - you pick up new products, tools and regulatory domains independently, without waiting to be taught.
You're improvement-minded - you notice where a process is clunky and propose a better way, even if you're not the one who builds it.
You're a technically curious problem-solver who enjoys turning a frustrated customer or client into a confident one.
This Role Is Not a Great Fit If…
You're not a confident communicator, or you go quiet internally and don't escalate when you need help.
You don't flag when you're struggling - issues tend to surface reactively rather than being raised early.
You need close, ongoing supervision and struggle to take ownership of a project end to end.
You struggle to manage your own time or to prioritise between customer support and internal requirements.
You wait to be taught rather than learning independently, and you don't tend to spot or propose process improvements.
You'd rather deal with only one type of audience, or you're uncomfortable supporting less technical end-clients directly.
You're wary of AI, or you prefer a narrow, script-driven remit in a stable, slow-moving environment.
